Water Cycle

Water cycle shows the continuous movement of water within the earth and atmosphere. It consists of different processes. Liquid water evaporates and changes in water vapor and condenses to form clouds and precipates back to the earth in form of rain, snow or hail.

Water cycle is very important as it enables water to be available for all living organisms and it regulates weather patterns on our planet.

Definition of water cycle processes:

Evaporation is the process of heating water from the surface and changes liquid water to gas.

Condensation is when gas turns to liquid.

Precipitation any liquid or frozen form of water that forms in the atmosphere and falls back to the earth.
